Shiplife Part 3

This blog post comes to you from St Petersburg in Russia, my 56th country. It could have been my 55th country last week but unfortunately I'm restricted to go to Russia without being on an excursion so this time I made sure to be an escort on the day tour. The city is pretty impressive with incredible cathedrals, fortresses and palaces to see but like anywhere, once I'd seen two or more cathedrals I felt like id seen enough. The weather here is super cold and raining compared to Copenhagen last week when it was 30 degrees and we were all sweating doing our standard embarkation boat drill.

Since my last blog post I have been to some amazing places including Tallinn in Estonia and Helsinki in Finland which were both awesome. Helsinki had a very chilled out, friendly city vibe and Tallinn had a very medieval feel to it which was like somewhere I'd never been before. Both were places I would definitely go back to and lucky enough because my next day off is going to be in Heksinki and I'm super excited to chill out there again! The problem with being in the baltics is that there are amazing H&M ships everywhere and it is most definitely a weakness of mine.

I've been in the ship just over a month now and it feels like I've been here a lot longer which is a good thing I guess because I am adapting. The team will be changing soon though which is something you have to get used to on ships but that's life. It will be sad to see some of my friends leaving the ship but it will be nice to have a nice mix of new people too. Life is good right now and I'm enjoying seeing some amazing parts of the world that I might not get to see otherwise.
