Hey guys, well, here we go, its just over a year since this website has been launched and the anniversary of my travel plans for 'India to New Zealand'. It wouldn't be an anniversary without making more travel plans and planning out my near future abroad. Lets face it, iv been away from home so many times now that this is literally my life as i know it, and i wouldn't change a thing. So first things first, Hayley my lovely Aussie and I have planned and booked a trip around the south pacific islands, which turned out to be a great deal. Originally i had wanted a trip to Fiji or Samoa, to tick of at least one of the islands down here, but having compared prices, I realised that a cruise meant that I paid pretty much the same price but it included my food/accommodation and I get to see so many more places. Even better, i get to go with one of my favourite people. As you can see on the map here, we will leave Sydney and will stop off over 10 days, at the places shown. I plan to return to Sydney and then fly back to Brissie with Hayley where we plan to take a trip down the coast for a week. After this cold NZ winter, I will be super excited to feel the sun on my now pasty skin. Bring on a luxurious girls trip =-)
Coming up next we have Asia, once again. I couldn't go all the way back to the other side of the world and not stop off in my favourite continent. So, having not got the chance to visit Nepal on my way here and having heard so many amazing things, I decided to fly from Brisbane to Kathmandu on Nov 27th. From here, Im planning to travel to Tibet and Bhutan- leaving all plans open in between. Just this week, i booked my 300hr advanced yoga teacher training at my favourite school Rishikesh Yog Peeth, which i will attend for 6 weeks from January 12th. Therefore, I have 11 weeks (wow) to just chill out around Nepal/Bhutan and Tibet, to explore, do some yoga retreats and enjoy life. Lets hope my money doesn't run out. I will have Christmas in one of these places im guessing, whether I celebrate it or not, that's a different story, but who knows, surely ill meet some homesick westerners willing to cook a Xmas dinner with me.
So, that is about as far as I have gotten with planning, so it leaves me at Feb 23rd where I have to decide where to work next, and lets be realistic, I'm definitely gonna have to get a job after all that. So the decision is... to go to Canada on a 2 year work visa and maybe do my Greenpeace thing over there/Go back home (not likely)/Work as a tour guide in Europe/Teach yoga somewhere in the world.... Who knows! I'm pretty overwhelmed and excited with the plans i have set in stone already so lets just see what happens. For now, Im gonna enjoy every minute I have left in New Zealand (I have over 4 months left haha) and continue blogging about my travels. No doubt my Facebook and Worldtravellerz news will update you on any changes that may occur. Who knows, I could be writing this for nobody but myself, but its nice to dream. Oh and by the way, If anybody who happens to actually click on my link and read this, plans to be in any of these parts of the world around the same time, by all means I wanna hear from you.
Over and Out =-)
