3 Days! THREE DAYS! I cannot believe it, and I cannot contain my excitement. I'm beginning to regret not booking my flight to go sooner, with all the waiting Ive had to do, but nevertheless, the day has nearly come. I'm so ready to go. I even had a dream last night that felt so real. I had arrived In India and my taxi charged me a small fortune to get to the hostel, he then proceeded to take more and more 'paper coins' from my purse to foot the bill. I couldn't believe India was so expensive. But then, I woke up! Of course it's not that expensive and that's what I am looking forward to, the best part about travelling in cheap countries.
I have booked my hostel right in the heart of Delhi, It includes breakfast, wifi etc and comes at a steep price of €5 for a private room. God knows how I will afford the rest of my trip at these prices. HA! HA! I will be meeting Eliza on Monday morning and after a night in Delhi we will plan our ongoing trip which will take us down to Varanasi/Agra/Rajasthan/Mumbai and hopefully Goa. I will be meeting up with a Canadian girl -Krista as well during my time in India which will be great!  I'm hoping to catch a flight up to Delhi where I will meet a fellow yoga student Raine who will be training with me in Rishikesh. Im so excited to meet new friends on this trip and no doubt there will be some amazing memories to come from it!

During the week, I was in Donegal- for any of you who haven't read the previous post yet, and I had a really nice break away. Playing the waiting game, when you are trying to save money, plan your trip and set up a website on a daily basis, becomes a sort of 'groundhog day', so to get away from my computer and my surroundings was a nice treat. Our second day there was spent roaming hidden beaches, coves and inlets in the oh so secret parts of Donegal, shown to us by my mams friend. I must have taken about 300 pictures in one day, but with scenery like that around me and a brand new Canon to play with, I couldn't help myself.

The day ended with a lovely vegetarian meal in the local 'Bay View' pub in Dungloe, and considering the meal I was given the night before in the hotel, this was beautiful. The next day, the day we planned to leave Donegal, we had our breakfast and set off through the remote Glenties in the lashings of rain. We carried on towards Sligo and stopped off at Davis's restaurant at Yeates Tavern where we had planned to eat on the way home from the trip. With great reviews, we were excited to eat here, and upon entering the tavern, It seemed very well presented. This all went downhill after receiving what was supposed to be an Italian wrap without the bacon, but turned out to have bacon all through the wrap and on the plate. With not so much as a heartfelt apology, they took it back and proceeded to give me a new meat free version The original waiter wouldn't even look at us or come over, until eventually he was told to give me my proper meal. The food was really nice, but when we had finished, we were passed by continuously by the waiters and managers for what seemed like forever, before my mam had to ask them to take the plates away. We were not given the bill nor asked if we wanted tea/coffee/dessert etc so we went up to pay at our own accord. We were having really bad luck when It came to food on this trip and It seemed the only place to get it right was the Bay View in Dungloe. I proceeded to tweet Yeates Tavern to amplify my disgust, but never heard a reply back. I wont be recommending this place to anyone, that's for sure!

My last holiday In Ireland was a success apart from the food horrors, we had seen some amazing scenery and thoroughly relaxed over the duration of our stay. Listening to the planes jet over my house as I write this, sends butterflies fluttering through my stomach. That will be me in a few days! I have been on SO many flights at this stage, but I still get childishly excited before a major trip. Flying to London first and then to Delhi, I will arrive on Monday morning to the hustle and bustle of the big city. I've heard that the airport In Delhi is amazing (I wonder where It rates on the sleepinginairports.net list) so I will be sure to take a few sneaky snaps. This will be my last post from Ireland, and my last post from this section of the Blog. Please refer to the 'India' section from Monday onwards, to catch up with all my goings on in the land of the Taj.

Reporting from Dungloe, County Donegal, Ireland- I am currently experiencing my last holiday in Ireland and what amazing scenery Iv experienced so far! It's hard to believe that I will be so far away from my homeland in less than a week, but that doesn't take away from the excitement of it all!

Driving up here was not as long as I would have imagined- well I know Ireland isn't that big to begin with but still! You could get from the most southerly part of Ireland to the most northerly part in or around 8 hours which seems mad! Especially when it took us two weeks to drive from Melbourne to Darwin all those years ago! How or take a few stop offs though, but it shows the incredible size difference overall!

Stopping off in Strandhill, in Sligo, a county home to half of westlife, we took in the rugged west coast scenery and watched the surfers in awe as they battled the huge waves before us! Why had I never learned to surf? Australia/California... I had plenty of chances! But that doesn't mean I can't aim to try in the future! And I will!

We stopped off at W.B.Yeates grave in Rosses Point, Sligo before carrying on to our next destination Co. Donegal!

One concern I had, was the lack of vegetarian options on the hotel restaraunt menu. If I don't like pasta, I would have starved! With tonnes of lovely dishes - for a non veggie- on the menu, I figured I could choose something nice and just ask for it minus the meat, but no that wasn't an option. I opted for- well not really-the plane veggie pasta which when I received it, was really very average and actually suppressed my appetite! With all that aside, we headed to the village where we had an ice cream and continued to the Bay View Hotel for a beer and a chat! The atmosphere was great and it was so lovely to enjoy a nice cold Coors after weeks- probably months- of not drinking! (Sacrifices of saving to travel) So worth it though! Today we plan to explore more of Donegal and take a boat trip to Aran Mor Island! Who knows what the day will bring! Oh did I mention inks a lovely veggie breakfast here in the hotel, well I did and it even came with whole grain toast- yum!

On pur way back home tomorrow, we plan to drive back though Sligo, stop off in Strandhill once again and have dinner in Yeates Tavern- named after W.B.Yeates! Exciting stuff!

For now I will carry on with my Donegal adventure and no doubt I will have a follow up to my experience on my return!

So it's been a few days since I last blogged and not much has been happening apart from setting up my brand new website! It has taken me a really long time to get it the way I want it but its so rewarding to look at it knowing how much dedication went into it! I currently have my blog 'from India to New Zealand' divided up on my page so it will be easy for you all to follow my posts from place to place! I figured it would be a lot easier than being all thrown in together! I am also available for travel advice through my website which is open to anyone yearning take the leap! so get in touch with me!

Also forgot to mention that I got my business cards the other day! It only took forever for them to arrive but they were worth the wait! I chose my unique 'WorldTravellerz' logo picture for the cards (which was taken in San pedro, Chile last summer)and I am delighted with how they have turned out.. Oh let me show you...

So as the title states, it's my last week in Ireland, well from tomorrow anyway, and I'm getting butterflies in my stomach! Just today I got a message from Eliza who so am travelling India with, telling me how great it is and it is not as scary as expected! What a relief! I'm dying to get going now and I think this week wil ll fly by! Tomorrow I will be going to Donegal with my mam for two nights! It will be nice to have a break away up there and a break away from my computer! Lol! Anyway I will keep you updated on how my week is going and in no time you will be reading posts from me In India! Just super!

Time really is flying! Yesterday I said goodbye to friends down the country and we chatted about my travels and what amazing experiences are about to come my way! I am really excited to be getting back on the road again but it certainly doesn’t come without its anxieties! Before each trip I get super nervous of the unknown something that quickly disappears after I have arrived at the said destination but nevertheless It’s still there at the beginning! They say that India is indescribable and you either love it or you hate it, but I’m kind of thinking I know the outcome already! I try to capture the culture of each country and as of yet I have not come across a country I have hated or just ‘not liked’ for that matter! India has everything I see in myself as a person and I think It will be a good match! The fact that the country is predominantly vegetarian suits me down to a T!

The spirituality of the culture certainly captivates me already form stories I’ve heard and most of all it is the birth place of yoga (have I mentioned that yet)! I started doing yoga a few years ago before and in between my travels! I loved it, but with not having the time to do it in a while I am really looking forward to properly relaxing in the moment, meeting new friends and making time for myself to chill out! Especially after the last two years of study! I am keen to get back to my old carefree self and leave my worries behind when I set off to India and I think that my choice to go there will be one of the best I’ve ever made!
