Meet Gimli
Gimli is a purebred black Labrador born in County Wexford, Ireland, in 2019. Don’t be fooled by his greying face—at 6 years old, he still has puppy-like bursts of energy.
He’s no ordinary dog. Since he was 6 months old, Gimli has travelled to 35 countries, including a full journey through Central America from Mexico to Panama. His adventures have taken him to the southernmost point of Greece, the Arctic Circle in Norway, and up active volcanoes in Guatemala. He’s also gone canyoneering in Nicaragua, tackling rivers and rugged canyon terrain, and has even ridden pillion for over 10,000km on a motorbike across Central America —enduring heatwaves, tropical downpours, and rough travel days like a pro. A true adventure-loving travel dog, Gimli proves there’s no limit to where a black Labrador can go. |
